Age Groups
T-Ball
T-BALL
Ages: 4-6
Geared towards our new young players. Focused on fun and
the fundamentals of softball.
8U
ROOKIES
Players that are 8 as of 12/31/2023
Ages: 6 - 8
Building on the fundamentals while continuing to focus on fun
and team building.
10U
MINORS
Players that are 10 as of 12/31/2023
Ages: 9 - 10
First level of kid pitch softball. Focus still remains on
fundamentals and development, more advanced rules
are introduced. First year of District Games.
12U
MAJORS
Players that are 12 as of 12/31/2023
Ages: 11 - 12
Full kid pitch with continued play into the complete game with
no restrictions on base running or pitching. While the
development of good fundamentals are still emphasized,
more advanced skills are developed. Final year of District
Games.
15U
Players that are 15 as of 12/31/2023
Ages: 13 - 15
Fast paced developmental competitive softball geared to
help prepare our older players be ready to play in high
school. While fun is still a focus, this age group tends
to be more structured play.
Florence Township Little League Softball is a member of New Jersey District 12. Our goals are to introduce and instruct the fundamentals of Softball, to do so in a safe and educational manner, to encourage and enable spending time together with family and friends, and most importantly to have fun.
